The air moves through the threads as the screws rotate, and the meshing screws force the air through the compressor. The most common oil-injected rotary screw compressor is the single stage helical oil-injected screw compressor. These compressors consist of two helical screws within a casing where the rotors compress the air internally when the screws rotate. These units are basically oil cooled (with air cooled or water cooled oil coolers) where the oil seals the internal clearances.<\/p>\n<p>Our oil-injected screw compressors have capacity and pressure capabilities between those of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
